We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage in Northumberland. The cottage was impeccably clean, bright, and roomy, providing us with a comfortable home away from home. We appreciated the helpful suggestions from Jane and Paul, the hosts, on dog-friendly places to visit. Despite being small, the cottage had all the necessary amenities for our short break, and the location was perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings. The minimal passing traffic didn't bother us much, and ear plugs solved any noise issues. Although the cottage wouldn't be suitable for tall people due to low beams or a large family due to its size, it was just right for our small family and two chihuahuas. we highly recommend this lovely cottage for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Northumberland.

Location was lovely. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful Northumberland. The cottage was well-equipped, roomy, bright and clean. The hosts were helpful and provided good ideas of dog-friendly places to visit. We also liked that the cottage was suitable for couples and small dogs, making it just the right size for us and our two chihuahuas.
The road traffic noise during the night was a bit bothersome but not too overwhelming. However, it wasn't a major issue as there wasn't a lot of passing traffic.
